Jan van Kessel, junior
Jan van Kessel, junior (Antwerp, 23 November 1654-Madrid, 1708), also known in Spain as Juan Vanchesel el Mozo or el Joven, was a Flemish-Spanish painter, the son of Jan (Johannes) van Kessel (1626–1679).
Biography
According to Houbraken, he was born in Amsterdam in 1648, but this may be the birthdate of a (deceased) older brother. He was known for his genre works, especially winter scenes.[1]
